Why do people consider Obama a black president?
When he is half white.
I am not asking to upset people. I am just wondering what the rational is for the distinction. He is two races.
I certainly WOULD NOT AVOID him. And I lock my doors because in USA you would not be safe from any particular race. There is criminals in every race.

Easy. One drop rule, look it up. In case you don't feel like it, it's basically a rule that was formed in the early days of America. They felt that blacks were inferior, so having one drop of African blood, made one black. It was another method of opression. Aside from that, President Obama looks like a typical brown skinned black man. If he hadn't told us he was multiracial, I wouldn't have had a clue. I want to know why people consider Mariah Carey to be black, now that's a good question. Her mother is white and her father is only half black... Both the President and Mariah Carey identify themselves as black, so that's something to look at too.

I love how white people then mention someone's other half when you want to justify you liking that person or not accepting a black president. You wouldn't have known if you never knew would you? If you never knew him, he would be a n3gro you would avoid or lock your doors.
