Pregnant guppy suddenly not pregnant anymore?

Just two days ago, I had a very pregnant guppy in a small breeding "box" the kind where the babies can swim to the bottom to escape the mother, but overnight the pregnant guppy just went back to her normal size and shape without any babies. She was very far along so I don't think she could have absorbed them, and she was definitely pregnant, so I don't know what is going on?

Yeah, they're definately somewhere in the tank. I don't know how large the tank is but fish really know how to hide. If you have any plants or rocks or especially moss balls, those are ideal hiding places. Or, sadly the other fish could have simply eaten them. Kinda sucks.

Source(s): Had this happen before. They were hiding in a giant moss-ball of death. LOL

Maybe she ate them right after she pooped them out?LOL anyways maybe there was a little hole big enough so the baby could escape. Idk. If there was a hole then the babies would have escaped and are in the fish tank right now.

They are in there somewhere. Were there other fish in the tank that the fry were released into?
