You can't just believe there is a God; you must have a relationship with Jesus Christ for it is only through Him as the ONLY mediator that we can approach unto God. That is much more than following the beliefs of a certain "religion". We are born with a sinful nature that needs to be regenerated - you must be born again John 3:3

There are Christians that don't have a good church to go to, but they still pray and study the Bible to commune with God.

The important thing is that you confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Christianity is about a relationship with God, not just believing.

But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ----- Romans 10:8-9

As far as not going to church, it isn't bad, but it is bad. Jesus told us to go out into all the world and spread the gospel. --- Mark 16:15. When you stay away from church, you're more prone to attacks from Satan. For example, my mother and I were Christians for a long time. However, we stayed out of the church for thirteen years and ended up bowing to idols at a buddha monastery. (true story) Got back to church now and got filled with the Holy Spirit, spreading the gospel and witnessing as I am now.

Friend, you can find your answers in the bible. Just start reading the book of John and start asking for guidance on the issue. The Lord has helped me MANY, MANY, MAAAAAAAAANY times. Believe me.

i think everyone that wants to get close to god gets this idea,i know i do,thats why i try reading the bible,because you learn and see what god wants and know one tells you but yourself believes what the bible says,not by mans word,not what people want to hear or want to do, with your own eyes,the bible states that we should congregate and im still working with myself and my family to stay stable in one church because alotta times im more worried about the worldly things instead of the most important thats gonna save me and my family,the bible states

,the bible is the manual book for us,the book of all books,bible says i cannot state myself that i am this,christian,catholic,jehova witness,ect.. while im not doing what the bible says,i mean gods word,so follow the bible(read) so no mouth will get you confused and troubled,FOLLOW your heart .peace and may god be with you,we create our future...

if u are serious then yes it is bad not to go to church. asking questions implies you want answers. answers are at church. if your issue is transportation then contact some local churches. many of them have a bus or car pool. if ur issue is that you don't want to sit through the service, and it is not just lack of interest i would a bible study or podcast.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but none of what you have mentioned matters if you dont have a relationship with Christ, he is the only way to be reunited to God.

And yes, it is "bad" that you are not reading the bible, how else will you know about God? How else will you communicate with him if you don't read your bible an pray?

We all are not perfect, and we all sometimes feel lethargic about going to church, that is when we need to pray to Jehovah God, and ask for his help ! The only one you should ask, which is the true religion is also God, ask for His guidance, to show you which church you should go to, as it is very important to attend church meetings, as they help to build you up spiritually. When you pray to Jehovah, ask all these things sincerely, and ask in Jesus name ( as Jesus is our mediator). Don't feel despondent, as that won't help you, but may Jehovah God, bless and guide you !
