Help my car won't start?

I went to start my car and the lights came on when I got the key half way turned, but when I turned the key the rest of the way everything shut off.

I jumped my car and it started, then as soon as I put it in reverse it died again. Now it does the same thing turn the key half way lights up turn it all the way everything dies!

What's going on please help

    Sounds like a Shorted/Bad Battery + Bad Main Fuse in Main Fuse Box by the Battery. Major tune-up needed and "Load Test" the Alternator to make sure it's still good.

    The battery is really dead..you should call your nearest car service center or local garage and they will have no problem in coming to where you are and plugging in a new battery

    battery is only a month old you say ? check the battery cables on the battery, they might be all corroded and not making contact. i say it,s either that or the starter solenoid.
