Mail Order or online jobs?
I live in a region where the only jobs for 30 miles include lumbering. I am not capable of heavy lifting due to a spinal injury. I am currently doing college online so I am well aware of the uses of the internet. The only asset I have in my little blink town is a post office, gas station, and my shotty internet connection. Any suggestions for a 'remote' job?

Based on what you tell us you could start a drop ship business. But be careful in being asked to pay anything other than a very nominal membership or similar fee to join their network.
