    I have not had any issues getting and holding onto a job in the USA, but then again I can pass a back ground check and a pee test which quite frankly a heck of a lot of others can NOT do.

    I agree, writing application letters in at least very good English will be essential. But you also need to have the qualifications. At least a bachelors degree, better a Masters or PhD, whatever the terminal degree in your field is.

    Have a skill .. (a real skill ..not menial work )

    Have an Education

    and speak the language

    same for anywhere in the world
