How do you remove Adchoice/Valueclick from your computer?
I started getting Adchoice windows on my Facebook page which is slowing down the page load time. I'm using IE and Firefox. Installed the ad block app for Firefox and set a cookie in IE so I don't actually see the ads on the pages any more now want to remove whatever is on my computer that made them appear in the first place. What made the ads appear and how do I get rid of it?
Virus Scanner found nothing, Spybot Search and Destroy found nothing, Malware Bytes found nothing, and Ad Aware found nothing. Haven't added any app's to Facebook in the past couple of weeks. Read the article on "Ad Ware" that was suggested and it sounds like what I have but haven't downloaded any Facebook Profile apps. Also read that some compaines are now placing the "Ad Ware" software in their "free" downloads (BE SURE AND CHECK THE TOS) so uninstalled some free mp3 software I downloaded but that didn't help either.

You may have added some app to your facebook page. That would be the
first suspect adware.
For more info on the adware now on Facebook read article in link below.

You can disable the browser addon(s) and uninstall thru your add/ remove programs.
Look for a listing of Yontoo and uninstall.
The cool thing today is not to use Facebook!
