$1000 annual cost per family?

Who realizes that the average $1000 / family (based on WORKING people without the social security tax holiday) is the same thing as the $1000 / family GASOLINE COST rise if the pipeline doesn't go through?

Democrats are as gutless and stupid as ever. Americans see through you.

What do you all think??

Update:

Analysis is based on prices rising, dollar dropping. Yup, I can surmise just as well as any expert. I just happened to hit on a point that is accurate. Numerous sources put the rise in average fuel costs to an American family at $0.50 / gal = $700 / year.

It just happens that this number is as convenient as the $1000 / family that Obama is citing for the SS tax holiday. Too bad you refuse to acknowledge it.

Update 2:

As far as "the risks outweigh the benefits" : We can have the oil, or the Chinese can have it. Do you prefer to pay more, and have the Chinese having the robust economy, or do you want to reverse the trend. Environmental wackos have had their day -- its over.

from which orifice did you pull this information?

All oil throughout the world is old on the commodities market. This oil belongs to whichever company owns the drilling rights. This pipeline will only help the oil companies make more money. The market will still drive prices.

the risks far out-weigh the value.

PLEASE show me the analysis that claims that gas prices will go up that much if we don't build a pipeline that goes ALL the way from Canada to Texas.

    I'm waiting.
