Is my cyndaquil pokemon shiny?
My bf traded me a cyndaquil in pokemon black, and i think it may be shiny I just want to make sure.
So, does the fact that it kinda sparkles when used in battle mean it's shiny? I can't tell if its lighter or darker colored than usual.

If it sparkles when released from the pokeball, then yes it is shiny

Ways you can tell:
1.Go to the Summary and check if there's a small red star.
2.You see some stars everytime your pokemon is sent out.
3.Look at the regular pokemon sprite and the shiny sprite (Compare)

go to the summary of that pokemon. Look at the picture of the pokemon and if there is a little red star just below the pokemon and just above the item it's holding then yes it is shiny
