What will happen if the wrong fluid is put in a Honda 5 speed transaxle?
Can a Honda 5 speed transaxle lock up if to heavy or the wrong fluid is put in it. My grandson put the wrong fluid in his transaxle and it locked up. I warned him to make sure he put the right type in it. I think the fluid he put in it was at least 90W.

yeah your right his transmission is toast the correct fluid especially in a transmission whether its Manuel or automatic is very important

just drain it out and when you have done that pour the right fluid in to wash the rest out and then it should be ok. but if not you will need another one
