Why are news Comments Gone?

To whom it may concern,

There is a serious issue regarding the comments section of the Yahoo news section of your web site. Numerous complaints have gone unanswered regarding why it has not been open to the public for the last three days.

If this continues to be an on going issue then I see no alternative but to close my business with yahoo and move to another site which is more satisfactory.

We are the 99%

Update:

For three days I have been listening to maybe this and maybe that and excuse after excuse why Yahoo news hasnt been up and no tone has actualy been from Yahoo PAL

They don't want people discussing NDAA, SOPA, the West Coast Port Shutdown (and OWS in general), congressional insider trading, etc.

They could have fixed it if they wanted to. They may also be retooling the account system or seeing if people abandon their yahoo account to log in with facebook until yahoo comes out with a new account system that, like Facebook, is tied to your real name and other personal information. They don't want people to be able to post political opinions on the web without having their real names tied to it.
