Is my answer correct?

2 numbers have a sum of 81. If one number is p, express the other number in terms of p.

My answer: x+p=81

Is this correct? I think so

    No, listen to Shadow Puppet. The question asks you to 'express the other number in terms of p', so it would be x = p - 81. It's not asking you for the sum of p and x.
