where can I get a free audio device download?
My computer has been giving me trouble so I deleted programs and files I didnt use. I also deleted something I do use, my sound. I had to do this when I got this computer but I dont remember where I got it. I know there out there free somewhere.

Usually the computer maufacturers have their system drivers for download at their support website, and quite often for free. Same for the manufacturers of the chips themselves, although at times they require you seel support from the manufacturer or vendor of the device which includes their chips.
I have never encountered them for pay, from the device or chipset manufacturer, at least for common PC system board and components.

Probably easier to use System Restore to return the Registry back to a point before you did your deletions. Hopefully, it wasn't too long ago. System Restore only goes back just so far.
