Is this a Japanese or Spanish accent?
I'm pretty sure it's Japanese but my friend is claiming that they're certain it's Spanish. They said that I wouldn't know because I don't speak Japanese, but even though I don't, isn't it still possible to recognize an accent?

Definitely pure japanese.

Japanese.
Though I've heard that Spanish language is easy for Japanese people to pronounce since they have common vowel sounds, so there's no wonder your friends got fooled.
