having an ear blowout and not fixing it?
i just stretched to 1" and the tunnel went in fine, but since my lobes are thick the screw on back kind of cut the lobe. there was a little bit of blood and now some reddish bump on the back. looks like a blowout but this has happened before and just went away. so if this is a blowout and i leave it unattended (other than SSS) will it just stay that bump or get worse? will it eventually not be tender or always sore in that spot?
im not looking for "take it out and go smaller and try again later"
im staying at this size regardless, just looking for some feedback.

From experience (I'm at a 1/2) the only way to get rid of a blowout is to size down about two sizes. Just let it heal for about two weeks then put back in your 1's. But if you leave it unattended it won't get worse, but it will stay there & that looks a bit in attractive and it's not the greatest feeling in the world.
