Vista, Windows XP or 7? --- for my HP Pavilion dv6275us Laptop?
I have HP Pavilion dv6275js Entertainment Notebook PC Laptop
It was vista when I got it and my kid changed it to windows 7, it is not working that great.
What should i turn it to? Vista? Or?
Anyone experienced this? How - what did you do?

I also wouldn't suggest that you go back to XP or Vista. Maybe some settings on your Windows 7 have been messed up. Do you have a valid product key for that? If yes, a clean reinstall using the same product key will fix it. I suppose your son has the installer DVD with him. Otherwise, download from Microsoft.

IMO Win 7 is great. Win XP was good too. Never used Vista, though I have on a friends PC and it works fine to. As long as you relatively know what you're doing you should be fine with any of them. Win 7 is the newest obviously, and IMO more clean and neat than XP.
What's wrong with your Windows 7? Just don't know how to use it? Lol.

XP is going to stop receiving updates, including security updates, in around 2 years. Vista, while it used to be horribly buggy, isn't too bad now, but 7 is definitely better than it in every way. You should tell what problems you're having with Windows 7. A general recommendation is to just do a complete reinstall of it.

Format and partition your hard disk using Windows 7 installation DVD and install Windows 7.Then install all drivers of your pc.
