How do you answer Non-Question questions on Yahoo Answers?

It depends on the question..

Dont answer.. Report or Ignore.

Questions like " Do women belong in the kitchen?"

are chatting violations. Questions that have no educational value for anyone. Designed to spark conversation/chatting.

I dont bother answering because the question will probably be deleted.

Some are troll questions designed to inflame people.. but actual legit questions posted w/in the guidelines.

Such as "What are some good recipes for cat" etc

The motto on Y!A -- is "dont feed the trolls" and they will stop playing games here.

I get the most frustrated and this is an actual violation..to not ask a question. The rules of the site are so simple.

You must ask a question. You must answer the question posed. Very easy. Yet there's scads of "questions" like

2nd request about email ?

Where to find my account ?

Email address for Robert ?

Staying out late ........... ?

Then nothing else added. Like we are mind readers

Some have taken to start reporting these.

You can read down a question list and see nothing but statements. People dont want to open ever question to read more.
