Ice Hockey goalie pad fitting?

I went to a hockey store and i tried some pads on...ive read a few articles on people telling of their pad size at my my height 5,9 and most people are saying they wear around a size 34...i went to my lockey pure hockey store and the pad size that fit the best was a 32+1...IS THAT RIGHT?

    I'm 5'7'' and I wear 31+1's. I think 33+1's would be better. They wouldn't feel too differant and might last you some extra time.
