I think he deserves to be World Heavyweight Champion.

Well, he nearly lied on another occasion, when he tempted to cash it on Mark Henry, when Big Show knocked him out. Well, superstars always lie so it doesn't really matter. You really think that he will have that briefcase till Wrestlemania? Even, he already had a booked match at Wrestlemania against the person who will be the current champion, so cashing it in quickly was a great advantage. At least it is better to see Mark Henry as champ. Big Show did deserve it on so many occasions. Maybe Teddy Long will book a World Heavyweight Championship between Show and Bryan.

on the cashing it in at Wrestlemania... I have a feeling the writers told him to do it before cause they want a better match for the title at Wrestlemania. so chances are that he'll lose the title by wrestlemania so there can be a better match
