How do they transport boxes of matches safely?

Seems like boxes of strike anywhere marches would be dangerous to pack into trucks and send off to stores. My guess is they use trucks filled with a gas that reduces the risk of ignition. Am I right?

You are NOT right. No special precautions are needed for matches as there is not enough movement inside the packaging to make problems

The only special precautions are when carying large quantities of this kind of material, the driver must placard the trailer with the appropriate hazmat placards to let emergency responders know that there are potentially dangerous materials inside the truck.
