    1. 3x + y = 10 => y = 10 - 3x

    2. y = -3x + 4

    3. substitute 1st step into 3rd step : 10 - 3x = -3x + 4

    4. 10 - 4 = -3x - (-3x )

    5. 6 = 0

    => No solution

    I'm sure this is the answer !

    3x+y=10

    y=-3x+10

    Substitute 3x+10 into the equation y=-3x+4

    so...

    3x+10=-3x=4 and solve for x

    after solving for x plug x in for one of the equations and solve for y

    DONE
