if your unemployed how are you handling this holiday season ?
im one of the millions unemployed right now and have been for over a year now. im not a proud person when it comes to were im applying for , i dont care if a check comes from mcdonalds or taco bell...i just want a job and have been applying for everything .
i was just wondering what others are doing to try and make this holiday season bright while unemployed. i was able to put some gifts under the tree for my son but the thought of being a few checks from being homeless looms over me and i just get so depressed.
please santa....all i want for christmas is a job !
@ this ones for you - i hear ya. i dont drink hard alcohol but i did just pop a beer while trying not to cry.

I feel your pain. I really want Christmas over. This year money has been so tight for us. I finished college as a paralegal but cannot find work now. I took an internship spot at Legal Aid but they have no funds to pay for new employees. I'm so lost and I feel so frustrated and sad. The best thing I have done this entire Christmas season is get on yahoo answers and try to help people by giving good advice. Hang in there with me. You are definitely not alone hun.

I don't know honestly I feel like less of a men by not having a job honestly I tear up sometimes most of my time I don't like bieng around my family sometimes cuase am ashamed. But am just happy to be with my family because am going to do a good or stupid deed to change my life good luck and happy holidays
