He grew up in Hawaii and if a citizen from Hawaii becomes president then they have that right to go back at Christmas. He too has that right. No matter where a president goes for Christmas, it costs money. It is a perk of being president.

our presidents are the most powerful leaders in the free world. and obama is no different than other past executives who have had vacation time. he works hard has huge huge responsibilities and him and family need too get away. its christmas time and mr obama says enough. pack your suitcase we are getting our vacation time out of the spotlight of washington. i have been too hawaii many times and love it there. this president needs the time with family. very hard working executive.
