Your passport is valid until the day it expires.
But . . . some countries require that you have a passport with at least 6 months validity, others require that it will be valid for the time of your stay. If you want to stay for 2 weeks only, that's not a problem. Just make sure it meets the requirement of the country you want to visit. Google: "[country] passport requirement."

It depends on where you are going. Almost all countries demand that the passport remains valid for the duration of the trip. However som countries demand additional validity, in a few cases six months beyond the proposed stay.

The question is not any count if the Dominican Republic assist you in. some international places require that a passport be valid for a definite form of months after arrival. you may call the Dominican Republic consulate nearest you today, or locate their internet site.

Yes, but it will depend your duration in that country,if your passport expires you need to go the US embassy ASAP for renewal or to help with extension, or else the host country might (if detected) deport you.

Depends where you go. Most countries have restrictions on the expiration date, e.g. there must be six months validity left .
