LCD TV VS Plasma TV? What to buy?

Looking at a 46 inch TV, and see that the plasma ones are a bit cheeper...

Also my Blu ray player has the same features that a smart TV has... Do I still want a smart TV?

I really like the Samsung smart because of the shiny coating on the outside...

Plasmas may have changed, but there is a whole issue with screen burn....You know how tv stations have their symbol on the bottom corner, plasmas were known to get severe burn in with those.

I went with LCD becuase the picture was just as clear and it wasn't much more expensive than Plasmas

I like Samsung.. I also prefer plasma due to the fast response time.. No blur on fast action. Very wide viewing angle... No refresh rates needed.. Burn-in on newer plasma TV's has been addressed with electronic orbiting and improved display phosphor technology.. Same lifespan as any other new HDTV.!!

LCD and LED have less parts inside to break.
