As a result of mitosis each of the two new cells produced from the original cell during cytokinesis

A) receives a few chromosomes from the original cell

B) donates a chromosome to the original cell

C)recieves an exact copy of all the chromosomes present in the original cell

    The two new and identical cells always* have the same amount of chromosomes as the original cell.

    In mitosis, they make duplicates of the chromosomes. That's why the new cells don't have 1/2 the amount of chromosomes as the original cell -- instead, they have the exact same amount. :3
