baby tantrums at 1and1/2yrs?

my son throws some pretty rotten tantrums. if he is throwing one because he wants something and you wont give it to him, then ignore him. i know it sounds mean, but eventually he will forget why he crying. all kids i know have thrown tantrums at some point in their life. its a way of showing frustration. and all kids want to go where they are not allowed, and do things they are not allowed. they explore and test boundaries.

do not spank your kid yet.. they wont understand, but they do understand the word NO

put your kid in the cart and dont let him down until he understand what you expect out of him and dont tell him that you are going to give him something for being good but if he is just good because you asked him to be them praise him a little later and tell him thank you for being a good boy here "this" for being good.. is it bribing? mmmm kinda, kinda not..

its not like your like do this and youll get this.. no its giving him the option and if he does good then he gets something in return unconsiously.

I have a 12 month old so idk if in 5 months he will really understand what im telling you but if you think he will then try it :)

a couple spanks on his bare bottom so it really stings. do not smile, no not cave.

if that doesnt work use the wooden spoon, 2 times should do it.

i wouldnt spank for him wanting another childs toy i would simply firmly say NO! and mean it.

a stinging butt wont kill him but it will send the message who is the boss,
