    Religion describes any practice of a religion. The mind really has no effect on religion. Spirituality is the relationship with the one true God which is Jesus.

    The philosopher's terminology is incorrect but evidently,was equating religion as a carnal pursuit in contrast to the observable inward spirituality of the heart(spirit),outwardly expressed.

    EDIT...The "fruit" of genuine spirituality,absolutely is observable and is what I was referring to..

    EDIT 2...There exists a fundamental difference between Hindi and Christian terminologies,regarding the terms,Soul,Spirit,Mind,soulish and spirituality...

    absolutely, i am talking about beyond "no-mind", however one can become no- mind person by two ways, by being totally unconscious after taking drugs, or when one relax and moving towards sleeping after hard working. second way is when one have space consciousness, where he/she is aware of the gaps between sounds, objects and thoughts.
