what are at least 2 pros and cons of owning guns besides protection and accidiental death?

Well guns are either for protection or hunting, but if i cant use protection I will say the pros include, recreational sport, such as target shooting and hunting, and excercising your right as an American, sort of like who women vote or people being able to protest without being shot or ran over by tanks.

Cons I would have to say are persecution from liberals who think guns are evil and having the responsibility owning a deadly weapon. like you have to make sure they are locked when no one is home and if you carry concealed you always have to worry about over zealous liberal prosecutors who will go after you if you ever have to use your weapon in self defense. Big expensive legal battles over defending yourself or your family is definitely a con.
