Ios5 update to iPod touch 3g?
Should I do it and why? Currently on 4.3.3 having battery problems.

I think you should. I have been running iOS 5 since it came out and I have version 5.0.1... It will give you iCloud, the Notification Center, and iMessage which allows you to "text" people that have Apple IDs when you have WiFi from your iPod Touch. If you do not have a lot of memory on your iDevice, I would not suggest doing this because the new iOS 5 does take up a lot of space.

I updated my phone to IOS5 ( I have a iPhone 3GS) and it actually help me use less battery , it made my phone faster and it doesn't freeze as often
