how to fix my laptop?
Okay so my laptop fell off my bed while plugged in and the cord got bent. The cord is broken, but after the battery of my laptop died i tried to charge it, and it wouldnt work. Could there be something really wrong with it? If so, how do i get it fixed, where, and how much would it cost.
I have a new cord and it still wont charge.
You people are entirely unhelpful.
The pin is slightly bet, but it seems fine to me. However i wouldnt know.
My sister has the samecomputer so i tried it with her cord and it still will not charge.

Pull off the back, put in two cases of black cat firecrackers, crumble some potato chips on it, and let your cat lick it. Lite it on fire, and drop it in jelly before it can blow. There you go.

make sure its the cable not the pin in the laptop. i work at best buy, and often times people think its the cord when its actually just a bent pin. you can get some at best buy, we get some in sometimes to geek squad, if not... possibly mem express or online. it just depends how popular the laptop you have is. cords also differ in price, if its toshiba, ~30$ sony, ~60$

The charging unit could be unseated. See if you can open the laptop and reseat, otherwise take your laptop to a repair shop. Make sure it is financially reasonable to replace anything. You must estimate what your laptop is worth to you.
If you tell us your laptop make and model is we may be able to point you in the right direction for instructions on reseating charging unit.
Best Buy repairs electronics, otherwise your going to have to tell us where you live for us to recommend you local repairs locations.

try removing the battery and using the new cord. if that fails then contact the laptop company.
