Buy a flat screen LCD TV in the USA or in the Philippines?
Is it money wise to buy TV in USA and fly it with me going to the Philippines considering the tax on the plane I will be paying for? I want to get a 46" TV worth $650 only plus tax when I fly. If I go buy it in the Philippines a 46" TV costs about Php 120-150K.

If you buy it in the USA and check it in the plane, I guarantee you that the flat screen TV will "disappear" once you land in Manila !!!

Buy it in the Philippines so the warranty will be honored. Plus no problems at the airport, customs or worry about it being damaged. Recheck that price as I think that 120-150K Pesos is high.
