Lost Folder in 8GB memory Stick?

I had a folder in my memory stick. The folder had over 700 photographs in it. This being the case, I am sure that I accidently moved it. I have looked for the file name..to no avail. I KNOW I didn't delete it. How can I find the folder. It must be masive in size.

if your sure you know the file name and have used windows search it should come up in the search.

However you could try to do an advanced search and only look media files. ( NOTE ) If you have an extremely large hdd with a ton if files on it it could take windows awhile to search through all of them.

on the other hand if your sure you didn't delete them did you by chance format the thumb drive ... or maybe pulled it out of the usb before you unmounted it. Ive seen pple loose data because they didn't unmount the usb drive before taking it out. another option is to get a program like Easeus data recovery wizard and scan the thumb drive for lost or deleted partitions.

No harm in running a file recovery program to scan the memory stick. If the folder was accidentally deleted somehow, it will show up and you can restore the folder and files.

Nope, formatting wipes your memory card sparkling. basically flow all your photos onto your computing device so as that they are going to be guard, then format your memory card contained interior the digital digital camera. verify to objective this generally!
