This is true - because I'v seen it for myself on an American choclate bar. Looks a lot like מניאק in Hebrew (which is a curse word).....

Also, the logo of the British sushi chain YO! is amazingly similar to the Hebrew word יפני (Japanese).

I once mixed up the Spanish word ahora (now) with a totally different Japanese phrase. it was not a curse, but it still did not make much sense. now I will start to look at ã¢ã¡ãªã« the wrong way...

I knew a Costa Rican guy who had trouble pronouncing the differences between beach and ***** apart.
So when he tried to ask, "Are there many beautiful beaches in California?" it came out pretty differently.
