So is Reggie Bush an elite back?
People talking about his 1,000 yard season but their are 17 RB to break 1,000 yards this season. I'm still not sold on one 200 yard game against the 29th ranked run defense in the league. What do you think?

NO! The thousand yard season isn't as impressive as it used to be. 1,000 yards was more impressive when you had to do it in 14 games. In order to get to 1,000 yards for a 16 game season a player needs to average 62.5 yards a game. Is 62-63 yards a game considered an elite back? It's a milestone for Bush, because he's never had a 1,000 yards before. Bush is still an average RB.

I'm sure he'll tell you he's an elite back but, then, he'll also tell you he didn't violate NCAA when he was at USC.
One decent season does not an elite back make.
