Skyrim: What is a easy way to get a good battle-axe or one-handed sword, and a good way to level up in Skyrim?

The best way to get a good axe or sword is to up your Smithing and make one yourself. Just kill a lot of animals and take their pelts/hides, turn them into leather and some leather strips, and make leather bracers repeatedly. It will make your Smithing go up so fast. And the easiest way to level up is to Power Level, which is just doing the same thing over and over and over again for a certain skill. For example, the Smithing tactic I described above. Another way is to get the Illusion spell Courage and get a follower and just keep casting Courage on that person. It took me about ten minutes of doing that and my skill level went from 23 to 67, which leveled me up two or three times. Another easy one is sneak. All you have to do for Sneak is to walk around crouched (in "Sneak Mode") in dungeons or the woods and places like those where there are enemies. Join the Thieves' Guild to boost your Sneak, Lockpicking, and Pickpocket skills really quickly, join the Companions to boost your Light or Heavy Armor and One-or-Two-Handed skills quickly, and join the College of Winterhold if you want to train in Magic and Enchanting. The Dark Brotherhood is ok for Sneak, but you have to assassinate a lot of people in public places and you get some pretty high bounties.

The easyiest way to level up is do smithing. Just get a heap of iron ore and leather strips then make as many iron daggers as you can. It takes around 5 hrs to get your smithing to level 100. To find a good one handed weapon, try and do the daedra quests so that you can find the dauthdart.

Go out into the woods & kill easy animals to level up your two handed or one handed. You could also try smithing. I made some sweet stuff by doing that. Also, sneak around all the time. This one takes a while, but it will level up your sneaking.
