Have you actually lost compression?
Do a compression test to see if it is up to spec.
Loss of compression can be a lot of things.
1. Valves are not seating.
2. Worn piston rings.
3. Worn piston.
4. Blown head gasket.
If it is one of the items listed above you are going to need an engine rebuild. Get ready to bust out your wallet if you don't know how to rebuild a 4-stroke.
If you do decide to tackle it yourself, make sure you have a shop manual for your specific bike and take pictures as you disassemble.

Have the problem diagnosed properly, there are so many possible causes from something very minor to something worse.
You have not said about abnormal noise from the motor so I assume it sounds good. Not burning oil as you haven't said. it maybe worn piston rings but it could just need a motor tune, I can't give more help without more information from you....
