Do people actually cheat on Y! A?

I go to answers.com because it's more moderated.

Depends on how you define 'cheat'.

There are a lot of people who often agree with the askers point of view to earn 'Best Answer', however this doesn't violate the terms of this forum. It may appear unethical and deceptive, if they don't actually share this opinion, but there is nothing in the rules that 'incriminates' (I guess?) this behaviour.

As to what would motivate someone to 'cheat' on Y!A...who knows? None of us could accurately answer that, unless we were cheating ourselves.

Why would they cheat? To compensate for the absence of self-worth in that hollow, tin chest.

You mean copying, using other answer as reference, or having the same thought with the others? Yes. Why? They feel like they are agree with the opinion and they claim to be their answer.

I don't get how you can "cheat" on Y! A.
