Need help on deciding on two York university programs?
There are two programs that I'm interested in taking at York University in Toronto. One is Professional Writing and the other is English and Professional Writing. I just don't really get the difference between the two. Does anyone by chance know the difference? And also to anyone who goes to York, how is it?

Professional writing involves the use of clear language to convey information in a way that is easily understood by the intended audience. Individuals who can use language well may be employed as full-time professional writers in a variety of communications-related occupations, such as journalist, web content manager, marketer, advertising copywriter or public relations account executive. In addition, professional writing skills are essential to success in many other fields as well, from attorneys and physicians to business managers and social workers.
This unique program blends English and Professional Writing, highlighting and enhancing the relationship between the two fields of study. You’ll gain specialized knowledge by connecting the two fields and gaining in-demand skills suitable for a wide range of careers. This degree option provides a more coherent course of study than pursuing a double major or major/minor option that treats the two fields as separate disciplines.
