I want to put a green laser on a H&K USP .45 What one is the best?

I have a Crimson Trace red laser grips on a Ruger GP100 that I like, but the daylight quality is not good.

I am told green laser are much better in day light.

Update:

I have been shooting over 50 years. You people are idiots. My eyes in the last few years have got worse so as not to be able to focus on the front site and the small targets even with glasses.

I asked opinion on a system, not the fact I can use open sights!

Q: "Colt 1911 .45 or hk usp .45?" A: Personally, I chose to purchase the full-sized H&K USP chambered for .45 ACP. Comment: Both are pleasant to shoot. The M-1911 is probably the more pleasant to shoot, in my opinion. But in my situation, I also wanted the increased magazine capacity offered by the H&K along with what I consider to be better ergonomics. Of course, the M-1911 design set a standard for ergonomics over 100 years ago. The H&K USP simply fits in my hands better and is easier for me to operate. That was over ten years ago. Nowadays, there are more handguns available for people to "try on for size" and test-fire for evaluation. As others have stated, and as I will state here, it's preferable to "try before you buy" when shopping for a firearm. It's true. Handguns chambered for .45 ACP are not the best choice for a "first handgun". It's better that a "first handgun" be chambered for ".22 Long Rifle" ammunition. After getting a "first handgun" for personal marksmanship training and economical target practice, then it is okay to shop for another firearm for the role of "personal defense". It's also preferable to take one (or more) handgun safety & training classes before shopping for a handgun. Good luck. :-)

If you need a laser, you probably haven't put enough time into practice. Especially during the daytime, when you can (gasp!) see the SIGHTS. This reminds me of the failblog photo...

    http://failblog.org/2009/07/24/hat-fail/

    Tacticool isn't always best.

EDIT: If that was why you wanted one, you should have explained so in the first place. Most people don't use lasers during the daytime, because their iron sights are clearly visible. Simply placing one extra piece of information (that your vision is going) would have gotten you better answers. Sorry, but when the vast majority of people asking questions like yours are a bunch of idiot kids who play too many video games, it gets very easy for us to grow tired of the questions.

longstanding F.B.I. statistics consistently show the great majority of shootouts occur almost within touching distance of each other, making dependence on any type sight a liability . Instinct shooting at close ranges, from the hip is for todays crowded and sudden, close combat.

pretty much ANY green laser will work for what ur trying to do.......

remember tho in all honesty u can line up ur sights just as fast as if not faster "finding" the laser dot in daylight.......

Source(s): have green lasers on firearms........prefer them at night over red since they replace both light and laser for inside (hd ) use...
