Can someone give me any evidence that God exists?

Atheists or agnostics, do not answer.

Specifically Christians, can you do the above, without:

a)Copying a wall of text

b)Going over 100 words

c)Quoting the Bible or teachings of the Bible for evidence (It's not enough proof)

d)Logical fallacies

e)Ignorance

I am curious as to what belief you people have.

Oh yeah, and:

f)No capitalizing 'Lord' or 'Jesus', e.g. "and the LORD said to JESUS be righteous".

It's annoying.

I’m a Christian, but I’ll try to go by your outline. Evidence is a tricky thing. I believe the Bible has all the answers, but there is no evidence that can truly prove anything from your point of view. People or something can change anything to make something there or not there. But logically, it is better to believe there is a god? Because if there is, and you’re wrong, you would go to some bad place forever when you die. Otherwise, you have nothing to worry about. Better to be safe than sorry. That’s a concrete common sense fact.

    I can.

    What would convince you?

It is easier to find the truth that God exists when you play by His rules, rather than demand that others play by yours. The first step toward that evidence is to humble yourself before the Lord. Decide that if God is God, and Jesus Christ is Lord, and that where you spend eternity depends on what YOU believe, then you want to believe the truth.

Once you have done that, here is how to find that truth. Ask Him.

I sincerely hope that you find what you are looking for.

    **edit**

FYI: That watchtower wall of text will lead you into a cult. Don't go there.

This is more than 100 words. If you really want proof it's worth the read.

LORD = God the Father. Lord = Jesus Christ. It's in the BIble.

We know God is who He claims to be because He’s done what He said He would do. That’s the whole point of prophecy and why studying it is so important to us. It’s God authenticating Himself.

For 6000 years He’s been describing things before they happened, so when they did His people would know that He was telling us the truth. Everything He said would happen in the past has happened, so it makes sense to believe that everything He said would happen in the future will happen.

There are over 300 Old Testament prophecies, all of them a matter of public record hundreds of years before the fact, predicting the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. The abundance and specificity of these prophecies demolish any notion of chance, exceed the requirements of statistical analysis, and prove more conclusively than any other fact of history that Jesus is the Son of God. In fact there is more hard evidence to prove that He is Who He claims to be, than there is that you are who you claim to be.

This is the unique and truly beautiful thing about the Bible. It stands alone among the so-called Holy Writings of the world, in its self-validating ability. Only the Bible tells the future with 100% accuracy. God knew we would be skeptical, unbelieving children. So early on, He began telling us things in advance of their occurrence so when what He said came true, we would be willing to believe Him. In this way we can be assured that our faith is justified.

In fact in Isaiah 44:6-8 God challenged anyone who claimed to be like Him to a two part test.  Part 1 is to accurately recount the past and part two is to accurately proclaim the future. Only God, who knows the end from the beginning  can do this.

Anyone who will put aside their pre-conceived notions and undertake an unbiased study of Old Testament prophecy can prove God’s existence beyond a shadow of doubt within a few hours. As God had Isaiah write, “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.   I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.” (Isaiah 46:9-10)  No other so-called deity can make that claim.

When you study Bible Prophecy and World History side by side it doesn’t require much faith at all to believe the Bible. The evidence in fulfilled prophecy is just too overwhelming. But don’t take my word for this, try it for yourself. The truth converts emotion to logic, adds knowledge to zeal, and makes your faith unshakable. Someday soon that kind of faith might well come in handy.

If the odds of something occurring are significant

to you then please consider the following......

    One in Ten Billion

    *********************

Did you know that the Bible is self authenticating?

You may think how could this be or what do I mean?

    Well let me explain…..

The Bible is comprised of Hebrew in the Old Testament

and Greek in the New Testament. The Hebrews and the

Greeks use their alphabets as their numbering system.

This means that their words also represent

numbers as a co-incidence of this previous fact.

This system of interpreting words as numbers of

significance is known as Gematria. For example the

number *eight* in the bible is a number that represents a

new beginning. The name Jesus in the Greek is Ἰησοῦς

    where the letter Ἰ=10 η=8 σ=200 ο=70 ῦ=400 ς=200

….thus the total for His name is 888.

This can be sourced at the following unbiased links….

    http://strongsnumbers.com/greek/2424.htm

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_alphabet#Main_l...

    http://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numb...

Now this in itself may not be that surprising…..

But this principle has been applied in a similar fashion to

the first verse of the Old Testament and the first verse of

the Gospel of John in the New Testament….both verses

relate to Creation and Origins. The results are surprising

to say the least. The author claims there is a 1 in ten

billion chance of it occurring. The formula that is applied is

kind of suspicious but since it is the same formula applied

to both verses the result achieved for both verses is so

unique it is undoubtedly the hand of God.

The results are 3.141554509 and 2.718312812 for

Genesis 1v1 and John 1v1 respectively

Which is the value of Pi and e within (-ve)0.0012%

    and (+ve)0.0011% respectively!

Grant R. Jeffrey calculated that for 11 Old Testament

prophecies to come true in one man's life the odds

would be One in Ten Billion times Ten Billion.

There are 109 prophecies relating to Jesus first

coming which would magnify the odds incredibly.

1 Christians are not hard up for converts. If you are too indoctrinated to believe, then don't. God loves you, but He doesn't need you.

    A) Psalms 22 fulfilled by Christ 1000 years after the fact, even down to Roman soldiers gambling for His robe. Ditto in Isaiah 53.

    B) Giants document Genesis 6 (as does the city of Petra), Sodom & Gommorah have been found, and on and on.

    C) Try this since you likely come from a sceptical POV - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hF5uxjBulA

Look at everything around you: the species of birds, the water cycle, the supercomputer in your head called a brain! How many constellations are there and can u name them all individually? Explain fire? How does gravity keep the sea from overflowing? What allows our axis to rotate around the sun? How can u start off as a minute cell and 9months later develop into a living being? How many varying species of each animal are there?

Close examination of every intricate detail in life gives substantial proof that there is a creator. It's not by chance that we exist and can function. If we have the ability to create machines, who created us with the ability to create? Please look at all aspects of creation and meditate on them and let that be your answer!

    Does God Exist?

    Some Scientists Answer

PHYSICS professor Ulrich J. Becker, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, stated when commenting on the existence of God: "How can I exist without a creator? I am not aware of any compelling answer ever given."

Did this contradict his scientific views? The professor's thought-provoking answer was, "If you discovered how one wheel in the 'clock' turns—you may speculate how the rest move, but you are not entitled to call this scientific and better leave alone the question of who wound up the spring."

Contrary to the opinion of some, many respected men of science do not rule out the idea of there being a God—a Great Mastermind behind the creation of the universe and man.

Consider two more examples on this point. When mathematics professor John E. Fornaess, of Princeton University, was asked for his thoughts on the existence of God, he replied: "I believe that there is a God and that God brings structure to the universe on all levels from elementary particles to living beings to superclusters of galaxies."

Physics professor Henry Margenau, of Yale University, said that he was convinced that the laws of nature were created by God, adding: "God created the universe out of nothing in an act which also brought time into existence." He then noted that in the book The Mystery of Life's Origin, three scientists explain that a Creator is a plausible explanation for life's origin. Supporting this view, astronomer Fred Hoyle has stated that believing the first cell originated by chance is like believing that a tornado ripping through a junkyard full of Boeing 747 airplane parts dismembered and in disarray could produce a 747.

To these answers can be added the words of the Bible writer Paul: "[God's] invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship."—Romans 1:20.

"If you discovered how one wheel in the 'clock' turns—you may speculate how the rest move, but you . . . better leave alone the question of who wound up the spring"

Yes, God really does exist! But what is his reason for allowing the world's present sorry state? What is his purpose for the earth? Can we know exactly who the true God is? God's purpose for the earth is discussed in the next article.

    What Is God's Purpose?

MANY people who doubt the existence of an all-powerful, loving God ask: If God does exist, why has he allowed so much suffering and wickedness throughout history? Why does he allow the sorry state of things we see around us today? Why does he not do something to bring an end to war, crime, injustice, poverty, and other miseries that are escalating at an alarming rate in so many countries of the earth?

It is suggested by some that God created the universe, installed humans on planet Earth, and then left them to run their own affairs. According to this view, God would not be to blame for the trouble and misery that people bring upon themselves because of their greed or mismanagement.

However, others reject such a theory. For example, physics professor Conyers Herring, who acknowledges a belief in God, states: "I reject the idea of a God who long ago set a great clockwork in motion and has since been sitting back as a spectator while mankind wrestles with the puzzle. One reason for my rejection of this is that my scientific experience gives me no reason to believe that there is any 'clockwork' model of the universe that is ultimately and finally the correct one. Our scientific theories . . . will always be capable of greater and greater refinement, but I feel sure they will always prove imperfect. It is safer, I think, to have faith in the living force that makes this improvement always possible."

    God Does Have a Purpose

God's original purpose was for planet Earth to be inhabited by righteous, perfect humans. The prophet Isaiah wrote: "This is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the true God,

there is no evidence against different gods (even the Bible states that there are 'different gods'). The Greek pantheon could have been Nephelim for all all of us understand. Demons had a loose pass down right here and finished miracles for human beings (see Moses whilst he confronts Pharaoh and the magicians experience Moses' miracles). exciting question.

If God exists, He doesn't belong here. As humans, we only know the sensible world, while God belongs to the extra-sensible world. You can't apply reason to something you have never and will never experience in your life.

That means, there is no way to look at God in a scientific way. There is no evidence that God exists, there is no evidence that He doesn't. It's no matter of reason, just pure belief. (:
