does it cross your mind of how many nukes there are around the globe?

Yes it does it's very worrying given that the US, china or Russia have enough nukes each to destroy the world many times over. It would not be the initial blast that would destroy the world but the fallout from the radiation. This would last for 100s if not 1000s of years. Anyone who was not in a nuclear bunker at the time of the explosion and did not have enough resources to remain there for 20+ years afterwards would almost certainly die if any of these countries started a war with each other or a crazy dictator in either Iran or North Korea caused a war or the Israelis attack Iran leading to a domino effect involving Europe, America, on Israels side and North Korea and probably china on irans side leading to world war 3 which would suck in other countries like Japan as well. And anyway if people survived in bunkers there would need to be enough people to reproduce with a good enough genetic diversity to avoid inbreeding. Also the world would be horrible after a nuclear apocalypse and who knows if it would even be habitable. There is a very real danger of nuclear war but I'm afraid there is not much that can realistically be done to prevent it only prepare for it eg construction of bunkers but the situations not got that bad yet.

It's baffling to know how many nuclear threats there actually are. And it doesn't take much imagination to believe at some point we are going to have an thermal nuclear incident somewhere in the world. Hopefully it's not going to happen anywhere near our homes. My instinct is that once we have that one incident people around the world will be so disgusted and horrified that the push to limit WMD will be a hot button issue once again... Hopefully!

I am so much bothered by the amount of nukes that we have around the globe.

I am far more bothered by the amount of murders that occur, whether that be by handguns, knives and other weapons of minimal destruction.
