Now as Gary Johnson is the nominee for the Libertarian Party, will they support him instead?

Considering the so-called "Libertarian" Party nominated Bob Barr in 2008 I am not going to put much stock in what they do from now on. For 2012 I think Ron Paul has a better shot at winning. Maybe, if one day the LP becomes libertarian again I might give my support to it once again. In 2012 I am voting for Ron Paul.
By the way, I have nothing against Gary Johnson but I think Ron Paul has a better shot at winning.

Libertarians are hoping that Dr. Paul picks Gary Johnson as his running mate. It's an excellent idea because then we can look forward to a Gay Johnson run in 2016 and the U.S. will have it's first Libertarian party president.
You sound like a REAL Libertarian...crybaby Newt? Really? LoL

Voting for a third party is not going to give your vote much weight. Ron Paul will be our best candidate to return the country to a stable government.

Most people vote for the man, not the party. Ron is more qualified although Gary Johnson is far better to represent what I believe in than any of the mainstream of the GOP.

i might help the main helpful Conservative candidate who's nominated to symbolize the Republican social gathering, and optimistically it extremely is going to be Newt Gingrich. i'm no longer dropping a vote just to make a component that no person cares approximately.

You are confusing libertarianism, which is a political philosophy, with the Libertarian Party, which is a political party.
