They decided to take advantage of one of the few times they weren't behind in the 4th quarter this year.....

    1) I do not watch the NFL, nor pay any real attention to it.

#2) I do sometimes come across an interesting headline, and did so on this subject.

They "Ran-Up" the score because their QB had a chance to break the Passing Record for the season.

The members of the OTHER team had no issue with it, because it was their JOB to stop it, and they couldn't.

The way I look at it, they are paid to put on the best game they can, and to not do so is a slap in the face of every fan in the stands or watching at home. To run deliberately down the clock in the last minutes of the game, as far as I am concerned, where Professionals are involved, that is worse Sportsmanship than breaking any "Unwritten Rules."

    Good Luck!

It was the game that decided if they got into the playoffs for the first time since 99. they weren't going to take any chances of a comeback

  • Because they could.
