Weird warm sensation on left foot without pain ? Any podiatrists or students ?

Starting like about 5 days ago i started feeling like very warm water being poured on my left foot(By the arch) which last about 5 to 10 seconds or more and strangely without any pain. I never felt this before in my life... What causes it ?

This more likely has to do with pressure on a peripheral nerve though it could also come from pressure on the sciatic nerve.

Indigestion or peptic ulcer. I have had very similar problems, and as it was not like previous indigestion (I have never suffered much from such things before), it worried me also. Indigestion tablets weren't immediately effective, and it woke me up in the night also. I found the best thing was to drink a little water, sit up and lean forward till the gas came - not always easy.......
