Show me some excellent active filters for my setup?
I dont know what you need to know to determin it, but iwill give it a try.
I have 2 Vifa TC26TG05-06, 2 CA21RE 8" 8 ohm, woofers. I have 2 CA21RE 8" 8 ohm working as midrange. Enclosure is arround 24liters big with wooden splitter for Stereo.
This im running on a carpower 4/600 @ 4 ohm (with the filter i have in it its 4 ohm load out)
Sub is a Pioneer TS-W3002D4 running from a Rockford Fosgate T1500-1BDCP on 2 ohm load.
Headunit is Pioneer Avic-F930BT, where i run a juego Macron 25mm dome. (those will not be using the active filter, since they are on the HU.
Tell me what else you need to know to help me?
I asume an active filter is between HU and amps..
It could be like equalizers, but im not sure.
I was hoping there existed digital filters, where all you did was adjusting screws etc to magically fit the speakers, instead of all the measurements and stuff beforehand :P
Its better to siffon the signal from the headunit, so all the amp is prosessing is the thing you want to in the end reach the amps :)
That will make amps a lot more sufficient.
I will look up those provided. Anyone else with suggestions dont hessitate to write :)
Price range arent concidered before i know which are the best's.
Ah okey digital sound processors, never heard about them, interesting, i will google it, thx :)
It was way interesting readings about DSP's. Im reading manuals now on different ones. Its like a juicy chicken reading it..lol

Looks like you are running a 3-way +sub. Active filters are done between the headunit & amps like stated and as such each range (tweet, midrange, midbass, & sub) will have to have it's own amplification. To find one will be expensive though they are out there. I would first start looking at some of the strictly outboard crossovers first as they will be the least expensive. Then it starts to get into the digital sound processors. This is where cost can & will go up considerably, but they tend to offer much more features like individual eq for each channel, time alignment, & phase adjustment. To name a few are the Audison Bitone, JBL MS-8, and Alpine H701. Some require a separate controller like the Alpine, and others are able to autotune through a binaural mic like the JBL. There is also the Behringer DCX2495 which can be converted to DC power, but it is a very sophisticated piece.
Choose your poison wisely and good luck!

Well I think we need to know what your actual question is? Don't tell me you are asking about what filters to use....
