What's my horse worth?
I have a quarter horse filly. She is bay with a white star, she has good conformation and bred for speed
Sire: kulgoa show n tell
dam: badgers dozen
Bloodlines include instant reaction, easy dozen, peppy San badger
I will be selling the mare and foal as a package before she is weaned
Her dam had never competed. How can you find out how much horses have earned? The sire has 149 points and 6 ROMs
I love trails, any chance you could post me the link? :-)

Not much most places. I can pick up a very nice registered QH weanling in my area for under $500 USD easily, usually with as good or better bloodlines. Some geographical areas she may be worth a bit more. Price on the dam will depend on her quality, age, health, soundness, training, temperament, etc. Even weanlings can be hard to sell unless they are exceptional, and it is far more difficult to sell a mare with foal at side. People may be looking for a broodmare/riding horse or a young prospect, but rarely does someone want both at once, and yearlings or 2/3 year olds are usually more desirable as prospects since potential can be more accurately assessed and there is less time and money to put out before they can be started.

The filly may be worth as much or more by herself as the two are together. But unless the mare has competed, then I would say the filly will go for perhaps as much as thousand. Maybe if you are very lucky you might get $1500 IF you find the right buyer, though half of that at $750 will be tops in most areas. Here where I live and gaited horses rule supreme, you can expect no more than $500. The mare will depend, if she is just a brood mare and hasn't been broke to ride then few people will even want her. If she is fairly well trained for speed events then she may bring as much as $750.

Well the broodmare without looking at her I would say $1000 at most and the baby $1000 at most if registered because of the bloodlines, although I would not pay that much for a baby that you don't know I it will be a dud at competing. You can go on the aqha website and find the horses competition records to see how many points they have but it looks to me as if you already have the points.

hi, i would say she would be worth about 1200, i saw another filly advertised similar to this one and that was the price. Good luck and happy trails :)

How much do her parents earn? The higher that number, the higher her value is.

Don't sell her give her to a ranch or to the animal shelter because if you sell her she could get abused or killed for meat or be breed like in puppy mills.
