If I like The Elder Scrolls, what other PC games might I like?
I have a crappy laptop. Newer games don't work very well on it. Any suggestions for games I might like?

If it's older games you're looking for...you mentioned you like Elder Scrolls, perhaps Morrowind could run. You can try the older ones like DaggerFall or Arena (They need a DOS emulator, although they are both available at Bethesda's site for free...and both games are really hard.) A few other good old pc games could be:
Fable: The Lost Chapters (Kind of like a Zelda/Sims-structure type game set in dark fantasy)
The Gothic series (It's like Elder Scrolls but completely 3rd person)
The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series
Penumbra (if you like physics-based survival horror)
I'm sure you can...-ahem-...get a Nes/Snes/N64 emulator and play some roms.
All of the above are old but still really fun. If any of the above mentioned don't work...then I think you should upgrade. I have a netbook and they run fine, so I'm sure your PC can handle them.

in case you like the morality ingredient of fantasy, Black and White could be a competent game to objective out. that's a sprint older and that's for computer, however the photos are nonetheless distinctly stable for his or her time. that's extra of a strategies-set than an RPG, yet have confidence me, that's relaxing and that's made by ability of the comparable people who made fantasy. Dragon Age is in all possibility yet another stable sequence to objective in case you have no longer tried it yet. that's equivalent to Elder Scrolls. that's a medieval RPG with a great storyline. I enjoyed the 1st Dragon Age extra suitable than the sequel, yet they are the two high quality. i know you stated no RPG shooters, and that i'm in my opinion no longer partial to shooters so coming from me, a real RPG fan, Fallout 3 and Mass consequence 2 are well worth a shot!! they have great morality structures and are "basic" for shooters (you relatively do no longer even would desire to play shooter inevitably, you are able to circulate melee). they might look like they do no longer seem to be what you're searching for because you're no longer carriers to shooters, yet have confidence me the have great storylines and are relaxing as hell. with any luck extra than a number of of those would be exciting to you. stable success looking a game!
