by anti navel i mean the bottom of your belly button as opposed to the top..

Update:

im good with pain and piercings and stuff

i have 3 piercings in each lobe

1 in my left rook

tongue

monroe

microdermal implant on the back of my neck

navel

1 tattoo on my wrist

1 tattoo on the top of my foot..

Yes. I have both the top and bottom of my navel and the top didn't hurt at all but the bottom was slightly more painful, I guess because there is more tissue there but it felt like he was digging the needle through my skin for like 5 minutes. My friend has hers and she said it hurt as bad as when she got her dermal anchors put in. But it's not too bad and its a very cute piercing, I love mine!

No. It's just a different location on the belly button. It's still going through the same types of tissue. The pain is exactly the same, relatively speaking. It shouldn't hurt more than getting your ear pierced.

Yes, it is normal. Naval piercings are, unfortunately, the body part that takes longest to heal. I heard this from a body artist, I think she said it was because there is the least blood flow in that area? In my personal experience, mine has not fully healed for a year. But don't worry, it's just a little extra care, then you won't have to worry for the rest of your life. Hope you feel better soon.
