Is this a good future build for gaming/music production?
I am thinking of building this computer
3rd gen i5 3570k (Out in march)
Intel ivy bridge motherboard (Probably chip set Z77)
Corsair vengeance DDR3 1600mhz
1TB Samsung spinpoint SATA 2
Ati Radeon HD 7850 (Out in march)
8X BD-ROM/ DVD-RW combo
Arctic Cooling freezer 13
Windows 7 Home 64bit
Are there any underlying problems or compatibility issues (particularly with windows 7 64 bit)
Is anything 'bottle necking' performance? And what could be made better?
Finally....
The main reason i am upgrading to ivybridge, rather than sandybridge is becuase of PCI-E 3.0 compatibilty. If there was a way of making pci-e 3.0 work with sandybridge, would this be a better option?
Thanks for your time
And bear in mind this is from a gaming and music production perspective. (FSX, Skyrim, Train Sim 2012, Mass Effect 3, Test Drive Unlimited 2, Crysis 2, Deus Ex, Cubase 5 + a million different VSTS

Wait!
No one can really confirm anything until everything is actually released. Well, maybe they can but it's still better to wait until it comes out to get the facts and check for incompatibilities and bottlenecking.

Hey there before you go pre-ordering you should check your research. There are plenty of PCI-E 3.0 boards out there from MSI to Gigabit that have PCI-E 3.0 on a z68 chipset. Just the first link alone has an affordable one from Asus.

As far as I know, the compatibility for PCI-E 3.0 lies in the chipset, NOT the proc. Also as far as I know, the new intel chipset that has come out (z68) IS compatible with PCI-E 3.0. As long as you put your sandybridge onto a board with the Z68 in it you should be set for PCI-E 3.0 when they start making GPUs that actually utilize it.

Agriculture would be stored because of the fact it must be, whilst that occurs is yet another question altogether. you're good to be bothered. on the 2d the U. S. is ingesting 4/5ths of the international's components, and in case you count extensive style the the remainder of the western international, it is humiliating to think of what the third international is left with. The rampant greed and huge lack of understanding is exceptional. i do no longer know what to declare. As a member of the western international i'm area of the subject, and my issue is attempting to get the the remainder of the western international to correctly known how disgusting this all is. And this is barely the present issue. As you're saying, what occurs whilst India loses that's agriculture. to no longer point out China with that's billions that are getting used to ingesting. possibly those image voltaic subjects that so issue scientists on the 2d will create some equilibrium and a few sanity. yet no longer till alot of individuals go through. that's dazzling to correctly known there is yet another man or woman who is conscious and has concerns. How do all of us social gathering and convince the others?

My suggestions (based off generally accepted truths) would be as follows:
ASUS motherboard
Corsair memory choice is good
1TB is good for storage and games, but I would suggest a small SSD for your operating system
Optical drive choice is good
If you're going to go with Windows 7 Home 64-bit, you might as well go with Pro
For the processor and graphics card, I would suggest to pair them as such:
Intel with NVIDIA
AMD with ATI
Personal opinions:
AMD processors tend to be more stable and run cooler than their Intel counterparts. Likewise with ATI graphics cards due to ATI being owned by AMD. If you go with AMD, get a processor and motherboard that use the AM3+ socket.
